A Businessman by day, Painter by night & weekends in both Acrylic & Watercolour. Anthony has juggled a succesful business career whilst managing to satisfy his artistic craving to produce. beautiful images He has won Competitions & Awards for his watercolours. and more recently he has experimented with Acrylics and Mixed Media which has also gleaned several awards. His work hangs in homes worldwide, ranging from Norway to Peru.

 

My art has led me on a very satisfying journey and discovery not only about the world around me but myself personally.  If art lives inside you it manifests itself in many, many ways both good and bad...the bad can destroy you; from Van Gough to Amy Winehouse artists of all types have allowed that creativity to consume them, overcome them.  In a way I have found myself often treading that thin line of sensibility and self destruction that resides in the mind.  Art is a passion not a business.

I have met some wonderful people over the years in the Art field: (Tony Couch my Watercolour mentor) and more recently I have had my eyes opened to other forms of painting that I have so often ignored, even mocked.  There is  "Maitre" Pierre Parsus - Invitation d'Honneur at Castillart 2007 (Who at 86 years old is still producing and by the way lives in Castillon), the more contemporary Martyn Baldwin www.martynbaldwin.com and Unity Cantwell www.unity4art.com .
